Everyone knows that one of the nicest things about getting married is the ability to spend the day with friends and family with everyone happy and basking in the glow of your love. Unfortunately, more often than not, this is not the case, and even the most perfect wedding day will not have been entirely smooth sailing during the planning! Let's face it, the act of joining two people in marriage also joins their families - and this is often not so straight forward!
Everyone feels as though they should be involved with the planning, and most feel as though they have more of a right to be more involved than their counterpart from their future in-laws. This is just one of those things that can happen, especially when family members start contributing towards the cost of the wedding! But nipped in the bud and dealt with properly, it can all be resolved - before a niggle your mums are having over flowers becomes a full on family feud!
Friends are also just as likely to cause problems. Whether it is the Bride not getting on with the Best Man, or the Bridesmaids arguing over who should be 'Chief Bridesmaid', it will not be easy for either of you - and that added pressure is not good for the wedding planning process!
Do not worry, we are here to help. More often than not, all it takes is to look upon the situation and find a compromise; unfortunately, you are likely to be too close to the situation and too emotionally involved to do this, but we are not. We will be able to calm any situation, big or small, so that everyone can sit back and enjoy your special day in the knowledge that their input and corporation helped the day be as perfect as you wanted it. After all, they all care for you and your partner and they all want the best for you and your special day.
